From the Heritage of Phuket Italia (1998) to the Present: A Story of Taste That Remains Timeless.
This page is far more than a simple directory of restaurants; it is the continuation of a journey that began nearly thirty years ago.
In 1998, when I founded Phuket Italia—the very first Italian guide to the island—Phuket was a different world.
My mission back then was simple: to provide a sense of home for the Italians arriving in this tropical paradise.
Many of the establishments you will find listed below are the very same ones I reviewed all those years ago.
They are the true pioneers of flavour—dedicated professionals who brought the passion of our homeland to the shores of the Andaman Sea, remaining steadfast in their traditions as the decades rolled by.
This page is the “descendant” of that original historic guide; it is a romantic link to a past that lives on through a perfect plate of pasta and the unique warmth of Italian hospitality.
